System Model (IPO)
In a assignment called "System Model" Some main things I learnt was IPO (Input, Processing, output) input is something external from the environment that is fed into the system, transformation process is the most important element of a system, and output from the system which is the result of processing the input. Some examples of inputs would be scanners, mouses, keyboard and more products that you could plug in a computer. Some examples of processes would be the motherboard, the case, the Central Processing unit and more. Lastly some examples of output would be speakers, monitors, printers, and more things that you could get an output out of. Also I learnt that the IPO model is a functional graph that identifies the inputs, outputs, and required processing tasks required to transform inputs into outputs. The model is sometimes configured to include any storage that might happen in the process as well. The inputs represent the flow of data and materials into the process from the outside. The processing step includes all tasks required to effect a transformation of the inputs. The outputs are the data and materials flowing out of the transformation process.
